The Festival of Nations is an incredible 50 years old!

Founded in Carinthia in 1973, the festival moved to Ebensee in 1989 and has been based in Lenzing for 10 years now.

With around 5000 short films of all genres, we have tried to bring people together from all over the world and to contribute to a kind of world community for culture, mutual acceptance, encounter and peace.

The films of this years festival are probably also a mirror of the world, which is in trouble.

Nevertheless, we want to celebrate together - the short film and life!
